1. The service

TeamMatesIQ provides AI TeamMates (such as Ada for admin and Finn for finance) that help small businesses manage email, calendars, invoices and expenses. TeamMates suggest and draft; you stay in control of what is sent.

2. Pricing and billing

  • The Admin TeamMate costs £49 per month, or £500 per year paid upfront, plus VAT where applicable.
  • New businesses may take an introductory first month for £1 plus VAT, once per business. It then renews at £49 per month unless you choose annual billing. We never switch you to annual automatically.
  • Billing is monthly in advance. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid month. Payments already made are not refunded except where required by law.
  • We'll give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.

3. Fair use policy

Your monthly price covers normal day-to-day use of a TeamMate by a small business. Running AI has a real cost each time it's used, so to keep pricing simple and fair for everyone:

  • What's included: one business workspace, your connected mailboxes and calendars, automatic syncing, and everyday chat, triage, drafting, chasing and receipt reading.
  • Typical use: we design around a busy owner chatting with each TeamMate throughout the working day. Most customers never come close to any limit.
  • Short-term limits: to protect the service, chat is limited to 30 messages in any 10-minute window, and very long conversations should be started afresh.
  • Heavy use: if a workspace consistently uses more than three times the typical amount for its plan, we'll contact you first to talk about your needs. We may suggest an additional TeamMate or a custom plan, and only as a last resort slow down AI features.
  • Not allowed: reselling or sharing access outside your business, automated or scripted use of the chat, bulk or unsolicited email (spam), or anything unlawful.

We will never cut you off without warning for ordinary business use.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Review what your TeamMates draft before approving it. You are responsible for emails and invoices sent from your accounts.
  • Keep your login details safe and only connect accounts you are authorised to use.
  • TeamMates are not accountants or lawyers, so check financial and legal matters with a professional.

5. Your data

Your data stays yours. We only use it to provide the service to you, and you can disconnect accounts or delete your workspace at any time. See our Privacy policy for details.

6. Liability

We work hard to keep TeamMatesIQ accurate and available, but AI can make mistakes and the service is provided "as is". Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in that period, except where the law doesn't allow this.
